About Products:
The manufacturing process of excavator piston usually includes the following steps:
1. Material preparation: Select high-strength alloy aluminum or cast iron materials suitable for piston manufacturing. These materials generally have good thermal conductivity properties, wear resistance and mechanical strength.
2. Forging or casting: According to the size and shape requirements of the piston, the material is processed into a preliminary piston blank through a forging or casting process. Forging is suitable for aluminum alloy materials, and the shape of the piston can be shaped by hot or cold forging. Casting is suitable for cast iron materials and pistons can be manufactured through sand casting or die casting processes.
3. Rough machining: Rough machining of the piston blank obtained by forging or casting. This involves machining the shape and dimensions of the piston to something close to final requirements. Mechanical processing methods such as turning, milling and drilling are usually used.
4. Heat treatment: Heat treatment is performed on the rough-machined piston to improve its mechanical properties and wear resistance. The heat treatment process usually includes steps such as quenching and tempering to adjust the hardness and strength of the piston.
5. Finishing: Precision machining of the heat-treated piston. This includes smoothing and smoothing all surfaces of the piston, as well as processing key parts such as piston ring grooves and piston rod holes.
Surface treatment: Surface treatment of the piston to improve its wear resistance and anti-corrosion properties. Common surface treatments include chromium plating, spray coating or phosphating.
6. Assembly and inspection: Assemble the processed piston, including installing piston rings, piston rods and other accessories. Strict quality inspection is then carried out to check whether the size, appearance and performance of the piston meet the requirements.
7. Final inspection and packaging: Conduct final inspection on qualified pistons, and package and label them for transportation and use.
